BEHIND THE LENS
Photography began as a hobby for me when I was a young teenager, but it soon grew to be one of my various creative outlets, along with drawing, to capture memories and moments in time.
I have been inspired by the golden age of Hollywood and the iconic black and white images of the fifties through to today.
Now a mummy of two, I specialise in child and portrait photograhy, creating magical memories in everyday situations. i beleive in using natures equipment, my eyes, my passion for photography and natural light whenever possible. I prefer to shoot in black and white, capturing the timeless purity of a moment, a family connection or emotion between a couple, without the distraction of colour.Everyone is unique, no two children or family is the same and therefore every session will be different.
My approach is like my personality, fun, easy going with a hint of direction when needed to ensure everyone is in the best light, capturing memories as they unforld.
I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and have been a volunteer photographer for the charity Remember my Baby for several years, which is incredibly rewarding.
